To add to their toolkits, members of Harris County Department of Education’s (HCDE) Human Resources division attended the HR Houston 2025 Gulf Coast Symposium on HR Issues to network with fellow industry professionals and learn new strategies and insights to better serve #TeamHCDE.

Held July 30-31 at the NRG Center, GCS25 welcomed more than 1,400 HR professionals who attended over 150 breakout sessions. Topics included diversity and inclusion, employment law, labor relations, engagement and retention, talent management and total rewards. Attendees were also able to earn professional development credits toward their Society for Human Resources Management certified or senior certified professional credentials.
