To help Harris County students for the upcoming school year, the Education Foundation of Harris County (EFHC) is partnering with community stakeholders and organizations to deliver EFHC-branded backpacks and give families one less item to worry about.

The latest partner is former Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) Board Trustee David Brown, who conducted his annual Backpack Giveaway & Charity Basketball Game on July 25. EFHC donated 60 backpacks for the giveaway at Attucks Middle School and help students and families better prepare for the start of classes in the coming weeks.
