During the May Board of Trustees meeting, Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) welcomed Trustee Richard Cantu back to the center seat of the dais as the new elected board president. He follows Trustee Amy Hinojosa, who proudly served two consecutive terms.
Cantu previously served as board president in 2022.
Trustee Erica Davis will join Cantu as the First Vice President and Trustee John McGee will serve as the Second Vice President.
