Education Foundation of Harris County board members Gina Felton, Mary Shekari and Meera Victor were among those recognized at the 29th Annual Table Talk Luncheon, hosted by the University of Houston’s Friends of Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies (WGSS) program. Held March 30, the luncheon honors women in leadership across various industries and cultures in the Houston region. The networking event inspires conversations and helps further the WGSS program and give students the tools to analyze gender dynamics.

Harris County Department of Education Chief of Staff Danielle Bartz, who serves as board president of Friends of WGSS, and Director of Education Foundation and Partnerships Trina Silva attended the luncheon to support Felton, Shekari, Victor and the 38 other honorees.
