In a show of true generosity and service to others, members of the Knights of Columbus in Crosby brought special gifts to some of Harris County’s youngest learners just before the winter break.

The organization, which was founded on principles of charity, unity and fraternity, dedicates itself to service and civic endeavors. In Crosby, the Knights of Columbus volunteer countless others to help their community – including Barrett Station Head Start and Early Head Start.

The Knights of Columbus donated winter coats to all the young students, a sign of support and kindness for others. The young learners will be able to stay warm, comfortable and safe during the colder winter months, which will impact their well-being and readiness to learn.

Community partners like the Knights of Columbus demonstrate their commitment to students and their families and HCDE leadership truly appreciates the support to its programs.
