#TeamHCDE is rounding out 2025 by cleaning out the buildings. Information and Technology Services recently launched the C.L.E.A.R. (Centralized Lifecycle & Equipment Asset Renewal) Initiative, which tasked employees with identifying and disposing of outdated and unused electronic equipment.

Nearly 90,000 pounds of outdated technology were collected, enough to fill three semi-trucks, from divisions across the Department. The initiative paves the way for replacing staff devices and launching a centralized asset management system that will improve security, reduce downtime and enable better long-term planning.

The initiative underscores HCDE’s dedication to sustainable practices and responsible recycling. With cleaner workplaces and new technology on the way, we’re stepping into the new year ready to support students and families more efficiently than ever.
