CES Welcomes Guest Panelists for Lead Strong Academy Workshop

A few weeks following its launch, the Lead Strong Academy and its cohort members were busy again at Harris County Department of Education’s (HCDE) Adult Education Learning Center. Meeting on Nov. 12, the group opened this month’s workshop with a four-member panel discussion featuring current and former school administrators, including HCDE Chief Human Resources Officer Dr. Arthur Sylvester.
Dr. Cleotis Wadley, the new leadership development officer for the Center for Educator Success (CES), led the panel discussion and has spearheaded the effort to strengthen school leadership and empower educators to reach new heights.

I had the chance to see the Lead Strong Academy in action, and it’s inspiring to watch educators come together, learn from experienced school leaders, and gain insights that really elevate their leadership skills. The panel discussion led by Dr. Cleotis Wadley was especially engaging—he has a real knack for empowering educators to reach new heights.

I absolutely loved seeing the recap of the Lead Strong Academy workshop — it brought back memories of being right there when the cohort gathered, diving into rich conversations with experienced school leaders and panelists. You could feel the enthusiasm in the room as educators shared insights, lifted each other up, and focused on strengthening leadership skills that truly make a difference in schools and for students.
