In supporting some of the Houston’s top women in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) related fields, Harris County Department of Education Chief of Staff Danielle Bartz and Education Foundation and Partnerships Director Trina Silva attended the Women in the Fast Lane of STEAM Luncheon, Style Show and Shopping Experience. They were guests of Courtney Taylor, EFHC advisory board member and Veritex Community Bank senior vice president of community development.

Held Oct. 17 by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, the celebration of leadership and purposed showcased 50 role models who are breaking barriers, building businesses, mentoring youth and inspiring young girls to pursue their dreams in STEAM fields.
