Members of the Special Schools division were recently invited to Texas Southern University to kick off its homecoming activities and meet with students enrolled in the School of Communications.

Professor Cynthia Gundy invited the team, led by Compliance and Technical Support Officer Michelle Rayson, to host a workshop that focused on the power of collaboration between educational organizations and changemakers within the community. More than a dozen college students were engaged as they explored how to solve various communication challenges that can arise in a professional setting. Director of Curriculum and Special Services Dr. Margaret Patton and Instructional Coaches Courtney Atkinson and Shauntee Johnson were also in attendance and used the opportunity to network and recruit students interested in the education sector.
