Highpoint School students are sharpening their minds one move at a time. Chess Coach James Hudson recently met with middle and high schoolers to teach the fundamentals of the game, explore strategies and practice good sportsmanship. The group will face off with students from each Special School campus at the 8th Annual Chess Tournament, which is hosted in the spring. The tournament allows students to put their hard work into action while building focus, critical thinking and confidence.
