Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) leadership joined others across the Houston area on Sept. 25 at the Sheldon Independent School District Annual State of the District Luncheon. The event featured student performances while attendees heard current district information and initiatives. Representing HCDE was Superintendent James Colbert Jr.; Chief of Staff Danielle Bartz; Education Foundation and Partnerships Director Trina Silva; Chief Human Resources Officer Dr. Tyrone Sylvester; and Assistant Superintendent for Academic Supper Services Jonathan Parker.
