Education Foundation and Partnerships Director Trina Silva welcomed members of the Greater Houston Area Association of Education Foundations to Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) for its quarterly meeting on Sept 19. The group meets regularly at school districts and agencies across the region to network with colleagues and share insights and best practices for fundraising campaigns, community initiatives and other organizational aspects to education foundations. The attendees represented 13 school district education foundations and heard from HCDE Center for Grants Development Director Joyce Akins and Momentum Education Executive Director Raj Salholtra.
