Mark your calendars for the annual R.T. Garcia Early Childhood Winter Conference, set for Jan. 31, 2026 at Kingdom Builders’ Center in southwest Houston. Each year, this conference inspires and engages early childhood educators and teachers across Harris County and beyond.

Now in its 40th year, the milestone celebration of early childhood education will bring together nearly 1,000 passionate professionals and showcase their commitment to improving and transforming the education experience for our youngest learners.

This year’s theme, “Hands-On, Minds-On: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) in Early Learning,” highlights the importance of STEAM exposure in early childhood and will feature veteran educator and social media sensation Gerry Brooks as the keynote speaker.

Registration opens soon for individuals, groups and students, with early bird rates available through Nov. 1.
