Harris County Department of Education Chief of Staff Danielle Bartz recently connected with local leaders and community partners, showcasing HCDE services and building relationships to best invest in county learners and their families.

She joined others at the Greater Houston Partnership’s most recent Future of Texas event. They heard from City Councilmembers about Houston’s budget concerns and major priorities.

On Aug. 7, Bartz attended the Texas Executive Women summer social at Plants N’ Petals. Attendees heard from community leaders and started preparations for this year’s nominations for Women on the Move, which recognizes 10 exceptional women annually. Bartz was a 2023 Women on the Move honoree, while Education Foundation of Harris County advisory board member Courtney Taylor was recognized in 2024.
