Despite the early morning inclement weather on June 9, Harris County Department of Education leaders were in attendance to support the Sheldon Independent School District Education Foundation Summer Scramble Golf Tournament. Choice Partners national purchasing cooperative served as a sponsor in the event, held at The Clubs of Kingwood.
Choice Partners sponsored a team in the golf tournament. Participants included Superintendent James Colbert Jr.; Dr. CJ Rodgers, assistant superintendent of education and enrichment; Jonathan Parker, assistant superintendent for academic support services; and Jeff Drury, Choice Partners senior director.
Through these local partnerships, HCDE is able to support Harris County students and educators through district sponsorships, innovative campus grants, school supplies in classrooms and scholarships for graduating seniors. Additionally, funds that flow from Choice Partners, a national purchasing cooperative, supply services to area school districts and the surrounding community.
