On May 8, Assistant Superintendent of Education and Enrichment Dr. CJ Rodgers congratulated and encouraged graduates of the City of Houston Office of Talent & Organizational Development.
City leaders spent the last few months training in the Spring 2025 City Accreditation Program for Supervisors (CAPS) to earn their leadership certification, which will empower graduates to obtain new roles and manage larger teams. As the keynote speaker, Dr. Rodgers prompted the cohort to be R.O.C.K.-stars. He explained that leaders need to discover a meaningful “reason” and purpose, understand that there are “opportunities” within the challenges they face and maintain “clear” communication. His final point was for graduates to “keep” the pulse and strive to be changemakers across Houston.
