College and school district spirit was on full display at the annual Choice Partners Vendor Exhibit, held April 4 at the Norris Conference Center. The showcase helped connect members of the national purchasing cooperative with vendors who provide goods and services.

With “School Pride” as the event’s theme, attendees donned gear showcasing their respective school district logo or represented their collegiate alma maters.

Dr. Jesus Amezcua, Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) assistant superintendent of business services, opened the day with a presentation on Uniform Guidance and administrative regulations. Everyone then shifted to the exhibit center, where members could meet with vendor representatives and learn about products and services. The day closed with a networking lunch and door prizes handed out to selected winners.

Choice Partners purchasing cooperative offers quality, legal procurement, and contract solutions to meet government purchasing requirements. The team secured $12 million in revenue during the 2023-2024 fiscal year, a record-setting achievement that directly benefits area students and educators.
