Klein Independent School District opened its Bridge Center Bistro and Boutique on March 12, expanding its services for district-based 18 and older adults with intellectual disabilities. The new space equips the adult learners with real-world experiences in education, employment and daily living. The Education Foundation of Harris County (EFHC) provided a grant to help fund equipment in the center. Harris County Department of Education Chief of Staff Danielle Bartz, who serves as a EFHC liaison, joined EFHC Board Secretary Patrick Joyce at the ceremony.
