REI Encourages Student Involvement at DataCon

Research and Evaluation Institute (REI) specialists gained new tools for turning data into impact and shared their knowledge at the Region 4 Data Conference on March 4.

Director Yolanda Pyrtle and Coordinator Tracy Yager led a session entitled “How to Encourage Student Data Tracking in the Classroom.” The presentation explored ways to empower students to track and invest in their data to enhance their learning experiences. Attendees asked questions about student implementation, tracking software and more. Assistant Superintendent of Education and Enrichment CJ Rodgers was also in attendance.
DataCon is designed for education leaders and explores practical strategies, communication best practices and analysis techniques to enhance teaching, student engagement and achievement.
