Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) leaders continued supporting area school districts and local initiatives at recent events.

On Jan. 30, EFHC sponsored a table at the Spring Independent School District State of the District Breakfast, with HCDE representatives joining more than 300 event attendees. Among those who attended were Education Foundation and Partnerships Director Trina Silva, Director of Center for Safe and Secure Schools Director Leslie Etheridge and members of team, and Public Information Manager Winford Adams, a Spring ISD board trustee.
HCDE Chief of Staff Danielle Bartz attended the Houston Naturalization Collaborative Breakfast the same day at Harry’s Restaurant. She joined leaders and representatives from various county departments, labor unions, League of Women Voters, NALEO Educational Fund, Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and other business and community organizations to discuss helping eligible residents on a path to naturalization.
