Members of Harris County Department of Education’s Executive Leadership Team joined other SuperMENtors in visiting and reading “Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type,” to Head Start students through the final weeks of the fall semester. Dr. Jesus Amezcua, assistant superintendent of Business Services, and Dr. CJ Rodgers, assistant superintendent of Education and Enrichment, even went a step further and dressed up to help our youngest learners celebrate the holidays. Rodgers dressed as Evergreen the Elf during his visit to Channelview Head Start on Dec. 11. Amezcua continued his annual tradition of dressing up as Santa Claus for Compton Head Start students on Dec. 18, and he was joined by Business Services colleagues to deliver toys to two classrooms at the campus.
