All Harris County Department of Education offices and campuses will be closed starting Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, through Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, for the winter break.

On Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, HCDE’s Head Start campuses will have early dismissal.

Offices will reopen on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Head Start classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, and Special Schools students will return on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025.
