Harris County Department of Education is now accepting enrollment applications for its Early Head Start and Head Start programs for the 2024-2025 school year.
Students follow the Frog Street Press curriculum, an educational program that promotes school readiness and focuses on language, literacy and social-emotional development. The program also provides intensive, comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income infants and children up to five years old and their families.
During the 2022-2023 school year, HCDE’s Head Start division served more than 1,300 students in Harris County through its Early Head Start and Head Start programs.
