Recruitment season is underway for Harris County Department of Education divisions as leaders strive to hire top talent for the Department’s four campuses and Head Start locations.
On April 13, our Special Schools division hosted job fairs at our Highpoint School and Academic and Behavior School East and West campuses. With the assistance of various social media recruitment campaigns and media outreach, the events drew nearly 60 prospective educators.
Campus staff welcomed applicants to share their qualifications, learn about the Department’s culture and tour the new facilities. More than half of the applicants were interested in teaching positions across the division.
