This week, HCDE continues its “Feasting with Fortis” series, a cooking show highlighting students from Fortis Academy’s culinary program who create delicious and easy-to-make meals that anyone can enjoy at home.
In the latest episode, student chef Gilberto Jimenez transforms simple ingredients into Sawdust Pudding, a delectable dessert that will make your taste buds dance. Under the direction of Culinary Arts Instructor Daisy Alvarez, Jimenez mixes heavy whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk to create a fluffy, creamy blend to serve as the base of the dish. He combines the mixture with crushed Bolacha Marias cookies and fresh strawberries for a sweet escape.
