Healthy Minds Healthy Families Conference equips professionals, caregivers of children with challenging behaviors

Harris County Department of Education Head Start hosts the 4th annual Healthy Minds Healthy Families Conference on May 4 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at 6300 Irvington Blvd. Cost of the workshop is only $10 and includes lunch and free parking through a grant-funded initiative from the Hogg Foundation.
The conference is open to early childhood educators, families, members of the Head Start community and others who work with children with challenging behaviors. The focus of the event is to provide participants with tools for working with children with challenging behaviors and increase public awareness of mental health issues among children and adults.
Conference funder the Hogg Foundation advances recovery and wellness in Texas by funding mental health services, policy analysis, research and public education.
