Capturing Kids’ Hearts curricula provides strategy and training for teachers and administrators to achieve success in the classroom.
Look around, and you will see people reading texts, emails, posts, blogs, tweets and chats. Communication is everywhere in our society! How do you communicate with your students? I’m not talking about the platform. I’m talking about the heart.
Do your students know you care about them first as a person and second as a learner?
Would they say you are a good listener?
When it comes right down to it, people really do need to “know how much we care before they care how much we know.”
Simple yet powerful ways to demonstrate you care:
● Ask them about their hobbies, interests, and extracurricular activities.
● Listen with your eyes and heart, not only your ears.
● Empower them! Ask your students for feedback. Give them a voice in the classroom.
● Celebrate their successes!
