More than 1,000 early childhood educators from across Texas attended the 31st Annual R.T. Garcia Early Childhood Winter Conference on Jan. 28 to gain new strategies for student engagement and network with experts in their field.

Educators danced and sang with keynote speakers Don Monopoli and Gilberto Soto and learned to infuse passion and purpose into early childhood planning with more than 80 breakout sessions. They also left with easy-to-implement, research-based strategies designed for students in pre-kindergarten through second grade.
